Adrienne is an American writer, actress and the cult horror film star. A former dancer, she gained fame as a genre star in films. She was best known for portraying the stubborn, determined Rizzo as part of the Broadway musical Grease. One of her best roles is as Bea's daughter on the television sitcom Maude. The character was later cast as the daughter of Bea Arthur's character on Maude, the sitcom on television that was immediately a hit. She also appeared in comic roles in The Cannonball Run and Back to School . She also voiced Cat woman in the Batman animated series. Continuing her tryst with animation she gave voice to the villainous character of Helga Von Gug, gen. She also wrote three books including an autobiography There Are Worse Things I Could Do .
